Passive Style of Yoga

Passive style of Yoga that works on the joints, ligaments and connective tissues. The poses are held for longer, 3 to 5 min, in order to stretch or compress the connective tissue and allow the body to heal itself. The practice lends well for meditation and introspection to become mindful of sensations in the body and the breath. Plenty of props (blocks, bolsters and cushions) can be used to allow the muscle to relax.

  • Suitable for all levels.
